But about 10 minutes before the start of the match, a big shock occurred as leg spinner Asha Shobhana got injured.

According to the information, Asha Shobhana was a part of the playing eleven but she suffered a knee injury in the warm-up about 10 minutes before the start of India's bowling. In such a situation, India had to make a change and left arm spinner Radha Yadav was included. Asha's injury was definitely harmful for India but Radha's arrival definitely gave it a big advantage because the team's fielding got strengthened and it did not take long to see its effect. Australia's star opener Beth Mooney played a cut shot on the fourth ball of the third over of Australia's innings, i.e. the 16th ball of the match, but Radha, posted at the backward point, dived forward and took an excellent catch just a few millimeters above the ground.

This tremendous fielding by Radha gave a great start to Team India in the match. Before this match, Mooney had led the team to victory by playing two strong innings of 40 and 43 runs in the tournament. In such a situation, it was important for Team India to take Mooney's wicket early and Radha played a big role in making it possible. Mooney could score only 2 runs. Team India got double benefit of this wicket because Renuka Singh returned Georgia Wareham on the very next ball without opening the account. In this way, Australia lost 2 wickets for only 17 runs.
