Team India had captured the series by winning the first two matches, but in the third and last match, it destroyed Bangladesh. In this match played in Hyderabad, Team India had decided the defeat of Bangladesh with its explosive batting. On the basis of Sanju Samson's record century scored in just 40 balls and the stormy innings of other batsmen, Team India scored a world record score of 297 runs. Bangladesh was never in a position to reach this score and Team India won the match by a huge margin of 133 runs.
