Rishabh Pant engages in fun gully cricket match: Batting leke chala jata hoo

India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant was seen engaging in a fun gully cricket match with a few fans on Friday, October 11. Pant shared the video of the game on his social media handles where he could be seen explaining the rules of the match to his playmates.
  The southpaw was seen playing his usual inventive shots during the fun game as he played a reverse sweep leaving everyone around him in awe. Pant even showcased his bowling talent as he left the batters bamboozled with his terrific one-hand spin. The India cricketer completely exhibited his true self throughout the  Pant closes the video with a hilarious remark reminding everyone of their fun gully cricket days. "Main batsman hoo na batting le ke ghar chala jaata hoo! (I'm the batter, I will complete my batting and run home,"Pant could be heard saying in the video.  
  Rishabh Pant's remarkable Test comeback Meanwhile, Pant made a sensational comeback to the Indian Test team as he played as he scored his sixth hundred during the first Test against Bangladesh at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Pant played a magnificent knock of 109 (128) with the help of 13 fours and four sixes. His last Test appearance before his horrific car crash in December 2022, also came against Bangladesh where he scored a magnificent 93 in the first innings in Mirpur. The wicketkeeper batter looked at his usual best as he played some remarkable shots such as the one-handed six down the ground, the use of feet against spinners and wild hoicks towards the leg side. Courtesy of his performance, India won the first Test in Chennai by 280 runs and further win the second Test by seven wickets despite losing over two days due to rain. Meanwhile, Pant will be eager to continue his form in the upcoming three-match Test series against New Zealand beginning from October 17. He will later travel to Australia in November for the all-important five-match series. Notably, Pant played a pivotal role in India's last Test series win in Australia as scored an unbeaten 89 in the fourth Test at the Gabba, Brisbane which helped India chase down the target of 329 and win the series by 2-1.
