Thanks to the explosive attack by these two great batsmen of England, the England team scored 823 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in the first innings and took a lead of 268 runs on Pakistan's first innings total.

Pakistan's innings collapsed in the third innings

After taking a lead of 268 runs, the Pakistan team, which came to bat, displayed very poor batting in the third innings. Pakistan's batsmen failed to contribute anything for the team in the third innings. In the end, Salman Agha and Aamir Jamal made a century partnership of 109 runs for the 8th wicket but the England team defeated Pakistan by an innings and 47 runs.

Pakistan's veteran batsman Babar Azam has not performed much for the team as a batsman for some time. Babar Azam has flopped badly in both the innings of the Multan Test match. Babar scored 30 runs in the first innings and 5 runs in the second innings. After which now there is talk in Pakistani media of removing Babar Azam from the Test team. Some media reports believe that this Multan Test match could prove to be the last match of Babar Azam's Test career.
