Riyan Parag took the Indian cricket team with a surprise with a new action in his bowling. Riyan tried a sling bowling action, however his plan did not go how he wanted as the umpire gave the decision of a no ball.
Riyan came with an action which kind of looked like Kedar Jadhav, but his execution went over the marks. Parag tried a sling action from behind the umpire's arm to Mahmudullah. The Bangladesh batter misse the shot, but the umpire also declared it to be a no ball.
The action by Parag was in direct dispute of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC)'s game laws, as his back foot was out of the tramline. His foot landed directly outside the line, which left no doubt that it was not a legit delivery. 'The bowler's back foot must land within and not touch the return crease, appertaining to his/her stated mode of delivery. - behind the popping crease. If the bowler's end umpire is not satisfied that all of these three conditions have been met, he/she shall call and signal No ball,' Law 21.5 says.
