Ranchi: Jharkhand Cricket Association has announced the Ranji team for 2024.25. The captaincy of this team has been handed over to Ishan Kishan and Virat Singh has been made the vice-captain. Earlier, Jharkhand cricket team had played in the Buchi Babu Tournament under the captaincy of Ishan Kishan.

In the 2024-25 Ranji season, Jharkhand's team is in Elite Group D along with Assam, Railways, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Saurashtra, Delhi and Tamil Nadu. The competition is starting from October 11 and Jharkhand's first match is with Assam.
