The results of Haryana Assembly elections have come. This time Julana assembly seat of Haryana was in the news. The reason for this was wrestler Vinesh Phogat, who made it to the finals of the Paris Olympics. He had staked claim from this seat in the Congress elections. However, she was not the only wrestler on this seat. Aam Aadmi Party had fielded Kavita Dalal, a disciple of The Great Khali and the first Indian woman to fight in WWE, against Vinesh. But Kavita, popularly known as Lady Khali, could not succeed in the election ring. The people of Julana gave him only 1280 votes. Due to getting so few votes, his security deposit was also confiscated.

Vinesh's poetry could not survive anywhere

38 year old Kavita Dalal, who was trying her luck in politics after leaving WWE, could not stand in front of Vinesh. While he got 1280 votes, Vinesh got 65080 votes. It can be clearly seen that WWE's bet in front of the Olympics failed miserably. A total of 12 candidates had submitted their claim for this seat, in which Kavita stood at number 5. On the other hand, Vinesh stood first by getting the most votes and won the election. However, his victory margin was also not very much. He won the election by only 6015 votes.

Lady Khali's wrestling career

The Great Khali is the biggest name of wrestling in India. He is the first wrestler from India to become World Heavyweight Champion in WWE. By going to WWE, he earned a lot of name and money. After returning from there, Khali started training in India. He also trained Kavita Dalal and prepared her for WWE. After this she became famous as Lady Khali.

Actually, Kavita was associated with The Great Khali's Continental Wrestling Entertainment in 2016. After taking training here, he got a chance to sign a contract with WWE in 2017. After this she changed her ring name to Kavita Devi. Then he started training at WWE's Performance Center and participated in WrestleMania in 2018. Kavita took part in its women's battle royal. However, she lost and was eliminated. After this he debuted as a heel in the NXT live event. 3 years ago in 2021, WWE released him after his contract ended.
