Delhi: In the third and last match of the three-match ODI series between South Africa and Ireland played in Abu Dhabi on Monday, South Africa's batting coach and former veteran batsman JP Duminy came on the field and fielded. This incident happened when the last over of Ireland's innings was going on. Due to heat and fatigue, some South African players were rested, which gave Duminy a chance to field.

Let us tell you that Duminy had retired from cricket in 2017 and now he performed brilliantly on the field. The former left-handed batsman notably dived to block a shot from Irish player Harry Tector, preventing Ireland from scoring any extra runs. This scene was worth watching, because Duminy, the current batting coach of South Africa, showed a glimpse of his old days.

In this match, Ireland batted first and scored 284 runs, in which captain Paul Stirling played an excellent inning of 88 runs. Although South Africa lost the match by 69 runs, Duminy's comeback became a topic of discussion.
