The ICC issued a statement saying, 'Arundhati Reddy has been found guilty of breaching Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Associate Members. The ICC further said, 'One demerit point has been added to Reddy's disciplinary record. This is his first offense in a period of 24 months. Let us tell you, level one violations include the minimum penalty of an official reprimand, the maximum penalty of 50 percent of the player's match fee and one or two demerit points. When a player reaches four or more demerit points within a 24-month period, So he may have to face a ban also.
