According to Mayank Yadav, Gautam Gambhir had not asked him to do anything special. Told him to move forward with whatever strength he has. Mayank said that Gambhir did not advise him to think too much or do anything different. Just asked to follow the process and remain positive.

Did Ajit Agarkar's work in the debut match

He bowled a maiden in the very first over and joined the club of Indian bowlers who have done so in T20I, in which only current Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar and his debut bowler Arshdeep Singh are named before him.
