India all-rounder Shivam Dube was asked by Kapil Sharma to choose his favorite captain between MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. Dube played safe, and his reply impressed the audience and the Indian cricketers present on the show.
“When I play for Chennai, MS Dhoni is the best and when I play for India, Rohit Sharma is the best,” he said.
Rohit Sharma asked Shivam Duve if he practiced his replies a day before coming to the show.
Dube has been ruled out of the T20I series against Bangladesh due to a back injury. Tilak Varma has been named his replacement. Dube, who has been a key member of the T20I team, was injured during a practice session. .
The injury also kept him out of Mumbai’s squad for the recently concluded Irani Cup. The BCCI hasn’t revealed the extent of his injury, but it seems the team management doesn’t want to take any risk. His absence will impact Team India’s chances against the visiting Bangladesh side.
