Delhi: In the seventh match of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, the Indian women's team defeated the Pakistan women's team by 6 wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. In this match, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first.

This is India's first win in the current World Cup, due to which the team has kept its hopes of the semi-finals alive. Pakistan had set a target of 106 runs for India, which Team India achieved with 7 balls to spare thanks to the brilliant innings of Shefali Verma (32), Harmanpreet Kaur (29) and Jemimah Rodrigues (23). Fatima Sana took 2 wickets for Pakistan.

Earlier, in the seventh match of Group A of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, Pakistan won the toss and batted first and scored 105 runs losing 8 wickets. Nida Dar scored the maximum 28 runs for Pakistan. From the Indian side, Arundhati Reddy took 3 wickets and Shreyanka Patil took 2 wickets. Both the teams entered this match with one change each.
