Latest News :- 3,638 students graduated in the convocation ceremony of Tamil Nadu Sports University. The 14th convocation of Tamil Nadu University of Physical Education and Sports was held yesterday at the Tamil Nadu Open University Hall in Saidapet, Chennai. University Chancellor and Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi presided over the function. It was presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Vice Chancellor of the University and Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare. Governor RN Ravi presented medals and degrees to 37 students who have excelled in various subjects including physical education, sports training and management at the university level.

A total of 3,638 people were awarded degrees in this ceremony. Of them, 37 are Ph.D. Are. The convocation was addressed by Anita Baldurai, former captain of the Indian basketball team and Padma Shri awardee. Speaking he said, “During my schooling, it was my physical education teacher who discovered my sporting talent and made me a basketball player. The goal is to be successful in life. Hard work, dedication and perseverance are very important. Earlier, University Vice-Chancellor M. Sundar Vara presented the annual report. The ceremony was attended by Atulya Mishra, Secretary, Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, University Registrar I. Lily Pushpam, Examination Control Officer V. Murugavalavan and others.
