Actually, the name of the cricketer we are talking about is Tabraiz Shamsi. This South African cricketer has withdrawn his name from the central contract overnight. The South African Cricket Board is cognizant of this decision of the 34-year-old player. The board has shown its full support.

Let us tell you that Shamsi has taken this decision so that he can participate in different T20 leagues of the world. Apart from this, he can choose to play for the country as per his wish. He said in an official statement regarding this decision,

“I have decided to opt out of my central contract for more opportunities. This will allow me to be more flexible during the domestic season. Also, I will be able to take care of my family in the best possible way.”

“However, this will not affect my ability and enthusiasm to play cricket for my country. Whenever I am needed, I will always be ready to play for South Africa. For me, no T20 league can be bigger than playing cricket for my country.”
