Gautam Gambhir: A 3-match T-20 series is to be played between India and Bangladesh (IND vs BAN) from October 6 and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also announced the Indian team for this series. Many young players have been given a chance in this team.

However, there are some players who deserve a place in Team India but head coach Gautam Gambhir has refused to give them a chance. These players have not been selected in Team India and a total of 15 players are included in this list.

Gautam Gambhir did not give chance to Rituraj and Ishaan

If we look at this T-20 team to be played against Bangladesh, then opener Rituraj Gaikwad, who has consistently performed well for Team India, has not been given a chance. Gaikwad has performed well for India in this format but even after this he has failed to make a place.

Apart from Gaikwad, it also includes wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan, whom Gambhir has not given a chance in the team. Kishan had shown a brilliant game in Duleep Trophy 2024 and played an innings of 111 runs while scoring a century. Even after this he was not given a chance in Team India.

These 13 players were also not given a chance

If we talk about other players, it includes many players who were entitled to get a place in the team but were not given a chance. The name of star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is included in this series and he has not been selected in the team even though he is the highest wicket taker for India in this format.

Apart from Chahal, young fast bowler Umran Malik is also included in the list of players who have not got a chance in this team and are currently out of the Indian team. Apart from Umran, the name of young spinner Rahul Chahar is also included in this list, who is not getting a chance in Team India.

Young batsman Tilak Verma was still injured but he had scored a century in the Duleep Trophy and has also performed well for Team India in T-20 cricket, but even after this he has not been given a chance in the team. Apart from Tilak, fast bowler Mukesh Kumar has not got a place in this team even though he has performed well for India in every format and yet he has been shown the way out of the team.

Apart from these players, the names of Prasidh Krishna, T Natarajan, Rajat Patidar, Venkatesh Iyer, Nehal Wadhera, Akash Madhwal, Sai Sudarshan and Prabhsimran Singh are included in this list. These are those 15 players who should have got a chance in Team India but did not get the chance.
