This was his first red-ball match for the India Under-19 team, in which he hit 14 fours and 4 sixes. He was run out while playing an inning of 104 runs in 62 balls. After his explosive innings, fans are saying on social media that Vaibhav can break many big records of Sachin and Virat Kohli in future.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest player in Ranji Trophy.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi made his Ranji Trophy debut for Bihar at the age of 12, making him the youngest player to play Ranji Trophy at a younger age than Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh. In 2024, he scored 31 runs in two matches played against Mumbai and Chhattisgarh. Despite this performance, he got the chance to prove his potential and earned a place in the Indian Under-19 team.
