This stalwart will be the vice-captain in Bangladesh T20 series

Bangladesh T20 series

Suryakumar Yadav will be seen captaining Team India in the Bangladesh T20 series. Before the Sri Lanka tour, he was appointed the permanent captain of the T20 format. There are discussions that Surya will remain in the same role till the 2026 T20 World Cup. Apart from this, the board has not announced India's vice-captain for the upcoming series. Shubman Gill had taken this responsibility in the last series.

However, he is not a part of the Indian team in the Bangladesh T20 series. In such a situation, all-rounder Hardik Pandya can play this role in his absence. If Surya gets injured, the management can appoint Hardik as the captain. It is noteworthy that this all-rounder has previously led Team India in the absence of Rohit Sharma.

Both teams will start the campaign on 6th October

From October 6, Team India will play a three-match T20 series against Bangladesh. The first match will be played in Gwalior. The second T20 will be played in Delhi on 9 October. The third T20 match will be held in Hyderabad on 12 October. Let us tell you that all these matches will start at 7 pm.

The official schedule has already been announced by BCCI. Both the teams have also released their respective teams. There will be a tough competition between both the teams. Due to it being the home ground, the Indian team is being considered as the favourite. However, it will never make the mistake of taking the Bangladeshi team lightly.
