Former India batter Aakash Chopra roasted England and said they will soon take credit for how India batted on Day 4 of the second Test against Bangladesh in Kanpur. India National Cricket Team scored 285 for nine declared in 34.4 overs, with Yashasvi Jaiswal (72 off 51) and KL Rahul (68 off 43) hitting fifties. The hosts broke the world record for the fastest 50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 by a team in the most extended format.

“Fastest 50, Fastest 100, Fastest 150, Fastest 200, Fastest 250. India are the number one team in the WTC standings. England will take credit for the transformation of Indian Test team. Thank you,” he said.

Ben Duckett had credited his team for Yashasvi Jaiswal’s sensational batting against them.

“When you see rival players playing like that, it feels that we should get credit that they are playing in a different way than how others play Test cricket,” he had said.

Rohit Sharma, the captain, has been the reason for India’s changing batting approach across formats. He leads from the front and plays attacking cricket from the start. Although he hasn’t been able to play big innings, Rohit’s style has influenced other batters, and India are winning matches.

Rohit worked hard against the opposition, whether at the 2023 ODI World Cup or the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

After the Bangladesh series, India will host New Zealand for three Tests before traveling to Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
