Former India National Cricket Team player Harbhajan Singh opined on Jasprit Bumrah’s value in the IPL. The speedster is an integral part of Mumbai Indians and there is no possibility of him leaving the five-time champions. However, Bhajji, who played for MI for years, wrote about a rare chance.
Bumrah has been a match-winner for the franchise since making his debut in 2013. Although he took time to settle down, the returns have been unbelievable in the last few seasons.
In 133 IPL matches, the 30-year-old speedster has taken 165 wickets at an average of 22.51. He has taken two five-wicket hauls in the cash-rich league.
“If @Jaspritbumrah93 put himself in the Auction . we will be the highest paid IPL player in the history of IPL ! Agree people?” Harbhajan Singh wrote.
Harbhajan them came up with his answer.
“Just to continue to conversation in my view Bumrah will get more then 30 /35 Cr per year Easily . All 10 IPL teams will be bidding / Fighting for him @Jaspritbumrah93 
and Captaincy too.”
Keeping IPL 2025 in mind, Bumrah would be Mumbai’s first retention. The renowned team finished last in the previous season despite presence of Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Bumrah.
The move to sack Rohit and appoint Hardik as captain backfired. Bumrah was also upset with the decision but he is likely to play for Mumbai in the 18th edition.
