Delhi: Both the teams have been announced for the T20 series between India and Bangladesh starting from 6th October. On Saturday, Team India announced its team, while on Sunday, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) also announced its squad. The command of Bangladesh will be in the hands of Nazmul Hossain Shanto, who had taken the team to Super-8 in the T20 World Cup. After Shakib Al Hasan's retirement from T20, spin all-rounder Mehdi Hasan Miraj has been included in the team in his place, who is returning to the T20 team after a year.

At present the Bangladesh team is present in India, where a test series is being played between the two teams. The second test match is being held in Kanpur, but the game has been affected due to rain. Now all eyes are on the T20 series to be held from 6 to 12 October.

At the same time, Suryakumar Yadav will captain Team India in the upcoming series, while Mayank Yadav has been given a chance to debut. After suffering a hand injury during the recent Buchi Babu tournament, Suryakumar is now fully fit and will lead the team. Mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy, who last played for India in 2021, is returning to the team after three years. Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma have been included as options for wicketkeeping.

Mayank Yadav, who plays for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, has also got a chance to debut. Mayank created a sensation in the last season of IPL by bowling at a speed of 150 km per hour.
