Mumbai Indians: BCCI and franchises have intensified their preparations for IPL 2025 and updates related to IPL are available every day. A rule has been made by the BCCI management that the franchise can retain a maximum of 5 players and can also decide to add one player under the Right to Match rule (RTM).

Ever since information about this new rule has been received, all the supporters have started preparing the list of retained and Right to Match rule (RTM) players of their favorite teams. Based on these rules, cricket experts have prepared the list of retained and Right to Match rule (RTM) players of Mumbai Indians.

The purse is worth Rs 75 crores

If media reports are to be believed, BCCI has fixed a purse of Rs 75 crore for the retained players. Out of these, the first and fourth players will be in the Rs 18 crore category, while the second and fifth players will be in the Rs 14 crore category. Along with this, a third player can be seen joining the team for Rs 11 crore. Among these 5 players, the franchise will also have to keep an uncapped Indian player, while the category for the player re-joining the team under the Right to Match rule (RTM) has not been determined.

Mumbai Indians can retain these players

A famous cricket expert on social media has told about the list of retained players of Mumbai Indians and it includes the names of all the big players. According to the viral post, Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav can be retained by the management of Mumbai Indians for a price of Rs 18 crore. Whereas, along with Hardik Pandya, any uncapped player can be added to the squad for a price of Rs 14 crores and Mumbai Indians can add Rohit Sharma to the squad by paying a price of Rs 11 crores.

According to media reports, the management of Mumbai Indians can re-add wicketkeeper batsman Ishan Kishan with the squad under the Right to Match rule (RTM). Ishan Kishan was retained by the management of Mumbai Indians for a huge price of Rs 15.25 crore in IPL 2024. Along with this, it is being heard that Nehal Wadhera or Akash Madhwal can be retained as uncapped players by the management of Mumbai Indians.
