Delhi: A big news to India's young batsman Musheer Khan has come to light. Khan was injured in a road accident, where he suffered a fracture. According to reports, Musheer was going from Kanpur to Lucknow for the Irani Cup match with his father Naushad Khan when the accident happened.

Let us tell you that Musheer is the younger brother of Indian batsman Sarfaraz Khan and he was included in the Mumbai team for the Irani Cup 2024. This match will be played between 1st and 5th October at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

19-year-old Musheer Khan is a rising cricketer from Mumbai and has also been a part of India's Under-19 team. According to the Times of India report, Musheer had not gone to Lucknow with the Mumbai team, but was going to Lucknow with his father from his home town Azamgarh when the accident occurred.

Due to this injury, Musheer is now out of the Irani Cup. Along with this, there is also a possibility that he will not be able to participate in the initial round of Ranji Trophy starting from October 11.

There has been no official statement from the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) on this accident yet and complete information about Musheer's injury has not been revealed yet.
