Star West Indies batter Nicholas Pooran posted a heartfelt message on Instagram after Dwayne Bravo announced his retirement from cricket.
He thanked Bravo for his contributions and sacrifices for the game for more than two decades. The explosive batter also expressed his gratitude towards Bravo for giving a chance to a 17-year-old Pooran. Veteran West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo announced his retirement from all forms of cricket just days before his 41st birthday. The highest wicket-taker in T20 cricket history, Bravo's illustrious 21-year career came to an end after a recent injury during the 2024 Caribbean Premier League (CPL), which cut short his final appearance on the field. "Thank you for being our superstar. @djbravo47. You have shown us how this game should be played. And the sacrifices that have to be made to be on top for 21 years and also thank you for taking a chance on a 17 year old kid. Time for the next chapter in your life.
