India vs Australia: India to play Five Test Matches in Australia – Complete Schedule, Dates

India will travel to Australia to play a five-match Test series at the flag end of this calendar year, as it was announced on Tuesday (March 26).

The Indian Team will play five Tests down under as a part of the WTC 2023-25 cycle, which will start from November 22. The series will conclude on January 7, 2025 after the conclusion of the final Test. Australia won the previous WTC Championship after beating India in the Final. Rohit Sharma and his team failed to win their second consecutive WTC Final, but have started the current WTC cycle in excellent fashion. Team India is currently on top of the WTC standings, with a PCT of 68.51. Australia are sitting 2nd in the table with 62.5 PCT. India have done extremely well in Tests against Australia in the recent past. They won the last two series in Australia and have come superior in all of the last four series against the Baggy Greens.

The first Test will be played in Perth, followed by matches in Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne. The final Test match will take place in Sydney in January, 2025. The Melbourne Test will also be a Boxing Day Test match. India currently have hold of the Border-Gavaskar trophy after winning the series in 2023.
