Aleem Dar will retire from all umpiring at the end of Pakistan's current domestic season.

Umpiring in under 25 cricket

Aleem Dar was awarded the ICC David Shepherd Trophy for three consecutive years from 2009 to 2011. He was the first umpire from Pakistan to be included in the ICC elite panel in 2002. He officiated in four World Cup finals and a record 145 Test and 222 ODI matches. In recent years Aleem Dar started a charity “Aleem Dar Foundation”. The institution provides free ambulance service and blood bank and transfusion services for thalassemia patients.
