KL Rahul: Team India's wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul is currently playing in the 2-Test series being played with Bangladesh. Rahul could not perform well in the first test match against Bangladesh. Due to which now he may face trouble very soon and may be out of Team India.

After Bangladesh, India has to play a 3-Test series with New Zealand. Which is to start from 16th October. KL Rahul may be out of the Test series against New Zealand and now head coach Gautam Gambhir can give a chance to a young player in his place. Which can prove to be a great replacement for KL Rahul.

In the first match of the Test series against Bangladesh, KL Rahul could score only 16 runs in the first innings at Chennai ground. Whereas in the second innings he scored 22 unbeaten runs. If Rahul proves to be a flop in the second Test match, it will be difficult for him to get a place in the next Test series.

Because, Rahul can now be dropped from the Test series against New Zealand. KL Rahul has so far been able to score runs at an average of 34 in Tests. Due to which now he cannot get a place in the test team.

Whereas he also batted brilliantly in his Test debut. Due to which Padikal may get a chance to play in the middle order in the next Test series. Padikal scored 202 runs in 3 matches in Duleep Trophy 2024 and during this he also scored 3 half-centuries.

Whereas many young players got a chance to debut in the Test series against England.
