Team India: Bangladesh's legendary all-rounder Shakib-al-Hasan has recently decided to retire from Test cricket. According to the statement given by Shakib Al Hasan, Shakib will say goodbye to Test cricket in the Mirpur Test match to be held during South Africa's tour of Bangladesh. Meanwhile, news is also coming out in the media that this veteran Indian player may announce his retirement soon after the Kanpur Test match.
38-year-old veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has played 101 matches for the Indian team in Test cricket. Ravichandran Ashwin has taken 522 wickets in 101 matches played in Test cricket. Ravichandran Ashwin has recently played his home test match on Chennai ground. After which now some media reports are seen claiming that 38-year-old veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin can announce his retirement after the Kanpur Test match.

Team India has to go on a tour of Australia at the end of 2024. Captain Rohit Sharma would like to give a chance to a fast bowler in the team in place of Ravichandran Ashwin in the possible playing 11, which is often selected on the Australian tour.
