Team India: The first match of the T20 series between Team India and Bangladesh (IND VS BAN) will be played on 6 October at Gwalior ground. This will be the first time in the last 14 years that the Indian team will play a match at Gwalior ground.
The selection committee can select a separate team squad for the first T20 match to be held at Gwalior ground because Irani Cup 2024 matches are to be played in India's domestic cricket a day before that. In such a situation, it is expected that the team management can give many young players a chance to play in the playing 11 for Team India in the match against Bangladesh.
The selection committee can give Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma a chance as openers in the team for the first T20 match against Bangladesh. This can happen because the selection committee can provide rest to Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal under work load management in the T20 series against Bangladesh.
For the first T20 match against Bangladesh, the head coach of Team India can give the responsibility of number 3 to Rituraj Gaikwad in the absence of Rishabh Pant. Rituraj Gaikwad did not get a chance to play in the Sri Lanka T20 series before this, but now it is expected that Rituraj Gaikwad will once again make a comeback in the white ball format for Team India.
The selection committee can include Jasprit Bumrah for the first T20 match against Bangladesh. In the first match to be played at Gwalior ground, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh can be seen playing the responsibility of the team's fast bowling department.
Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan (wicketkeeper), Rituraj Gaikwad, Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Hardik Pandya, Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh
