In the Buchi Babu tournament, he scored a brilliant century against Madhya Pradesh and after that, while playing for Team India C, he scored a century in the Duleep Trophy. Recently, he has been included in the Rest of India team for the Irani Cup to be held in Lucknow from 1 to 5 October.
