Following their loss in ODI World Cup, Afghanistan took their revenge in the as they defeated the Australian team in the T20 World cup. In an interaction with Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube channel, Shahidi was asked to chose one whose victory he took more significant against Australia in 2024 T20 World Cup or the win against Pakistan. The win over Pakistan was picked by Shahidi as the people were very happy for that victory.
