The recent match of the Dewan Ballubhai Cup Under-19 multi-day tournament, a domestic school tournament being played in Gujarat, was played between St. Xavier's School and JL English School. In this match, young batsman of St. Xavier's School Dron Desai faced 320 balls and scored 498 runs at a strike rate of 155.62. During this innings, Dron Desai's strike rate was around 155.62 and he hit 87 fours and 7 lofty sixes in the match. However, when he was playing at 498 runs, the innings was declared by the team management, due to which he has also expressed his displeasure.

Dron Desai, the batsman who scored 498 runs in the Diwan Ballubhai Cup Under-19 multi-day tournament on behalf of St. Xavier's School, has participated in state level cricket in Under-14.
