Previous Ranji Trophy champions Mumbai willl be versing against the Rest of India side. the BCCI released the teams' squads long before October 1, which marks the beginning of the clashes at Lucknow's Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium. While there are big names in the Rest of India squad, one eye-catching name to be excluded is the renowned wicketkeeper-batter, Sanju Samson. Due to him likely being featured in the T20I squad for the series against Bangladesh, Sanju was not selected for the Rest of India team. This fact is further solidified as regular players of the T20I league such as Rinku Singh, Arshdeep Singh, and Ravi Bishnoi, have also not been selected for the Rest of India side.
