The 2024 Duleep Trophy concluded with a thrilling victory for India A, who defeated India C in the last match of the season. India A dominated the tournament, winning two of their matches out of three and securing the prestigious title.

However, it was Riyan Parag who stole the spotlight once again. His unique victory celebration, featuring an ice bath with the Duleep Trophy, went viral on social media, capturing the attention of fans.

After being dismissed for just 2 runs in the first innings, Parag made a significant contribution in the second essay, scoring 73 runs from 101 balls. His knock helped India A in securing a comfortable victory over India C.

India A’s victory was a result of their strong performance throughout the tournament. They outplayed India C by 132 runs in the final encounter of the season, setting a target of 350 runs. India C struggled to chase down the target, despite a century from Sai Sudharsan. They lost the match by 132 runs.

Aaqib Khan, Tanush Kotian, and Prasidh Krishna were instrumental in India A’s victory, taking crucial wickets to restrict India C’s scoring.

With this win, India A eventually finished at the top of the table with 12 points, while India C ended in second place with 9 points.

India A celebrated their victory in style, with teammates Riyan Parag and Tilak Varma leading the charge. As soon as India A secured the final wicket of India C in form of Anshul Kamboj, Riyan and his teammates pulled out the stumps and kicked off the celebrations. Riyan and Tilak were seen dancing, soon joined by the rest of the team.

Fast-bowler Avesh Khan, who smashed an important half-century with the bat in the first innings, also joined in, showing off some dance moves while standing next to the trophy.
