Irani Cup : The third round of Duleep Trophy is currently being played in India's domestic cricket. After the Duleep Trophy 2024 season, the Irani Cup 2024 edition will be played in India's domestic cricket. The Irani Cup 2024 match will be played between Ranji Trophy 2023-24 season champions Mumbai and Rest of India from 1 October to 5 October at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

In the Irani Cup match to be played at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, the responsibility of captaincy of Rest of India can be given to Team India's veteran all-rounder Hardik Pandya, while veteran players like Rinku Singh, Rituraj Gaikwad and Mohammed Shami can get a chance in the Rest of India team squad.

Hardik Pandya will be given the responsibility of captaincy for Rest of India

Mumbai and Rest of India teams will face each other in the Irani Cup 2024 match to be held between October 1 and October 5. Selection Committee head Ajit Agarkar can give the responsibility of captaincy to Hardik Pandya for Rest of India to face the current Ranji champion Mumbai.

Hardik Pandya can be given a chance to play in the Irani Cup for Rest of India (ROI) because the senior team management of Team India wants to include Hardik Pandya in the team squad for the Australia tour. Due to which the selection committee can give Hardik Pandya a chance to captain the team along with including him in the team squad for Rest of India (ROI).

Rinku-Rituraj-Shami will get a chance in the squad

In the team squad of Rest of India (ROI), the selection committee can give chance to star players like Rinku Singh, Rituraj Gaikwad, Mohammed Shami as star players apart from Hardik Pandya. Apart from these players, the selection committee can also give chance to some young players who have performed brilliantly in Duleep Trophy to be included in the team squad. Manav Suthar, Pulkit Narang, Shaswat Rawat, Sai Sudharshan and Harshit Rana can also be given chance as these players.
