In the fourth match of Indian Premier League 2024, Rajasthan Royals will face Lucknow Super Giants at Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday (March 24).

RR and LSG had met each other on three occasions and RR was victorious two times while LSG won one time. The last time they met LSG clinched their victory by the margin of 10 runs.   RR vs LSG, IPL 2024: Bowling Squad Comparison Compared to LSG, the Rajasthan side has a more balanced bowling unit in IPL 2024. RR have big names in both the pace and spin categories, while the Giants are lacking such diversity in their bowling unit for this season of IPL. RR spin bowling attack will be led by Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal who both have been quite successful in their IPL career. In the pace unit, RR has bowlers like Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma and Navdeep Saini. This combination of experienced players and youngsters makes this bowling attack quite formidable. On the other hand, the LSG are certainly lacking experienced bowlers in their squad. The only exception is the Indian veteran spinner, Amit Mishra. Like last year, LSG will depend on young talents in this IPL also. Ravi Bishnoi, Yash Thakur, Naveen ul Haq, Shamar Joseph, Deepak Hooda, Marcus Stoinis, and Krunal Pandya will be some of the names to watch out for. RR vs LSG, IPL 2024: Who will get Maximum Number of Wickets Yuzvendra Chahal: The Indian leg spinner was the highest wicket-taker for the Royals in the last IPL with 21 wickets in 14 matches. Chahal remained consistent in all of his IPL campaigns and managed to collect 187 wickets in only 145 matches with an economy rate of 7.67. RR will surely count on his consistency across the seasons. Trent Boult: The Kiwi fast bowler is a prominent figure in limited-overs formats of international cricket and is known for his ability to move the ball both ways. In the last IPL, his performance was pretty decent as he managed to bag 13 wickets in 10 matches. He also took 105 wickets in 88 matches in his IPL career. In the match against the Giants, a fiery display by him can be expected. Ravi Bishnoi: The 23-year-old youngster has managed to maintain consistency across the seasons. Bishnoi was the highest wicket-taker for the Giants in IPL 2023 with 16 wickets in 15 matches. Bishnoi's ability to bowl quick with a low arm accompanied by a deceptive googly makes it hard for batters to retaliate. Some glimpses of his skills can be expected from him in this match. Naveen ul Haq: The Afghan medium-fast bowler has very little exposure to IPL. In last season he only played 8 matches and managed to get 11 wickets in this short span. After last year's promising display of cricket, expectations will be high from him. In this bowlers-friendly and low-scoring pitch, Jaipur RR will be in an advantageous position on paper due to their depth in the bowling squad. But both of the teams will try to start their journey with a victory. So, a competitive and fierce battle can be expected in this Sunday afternoon match. Prateek Mascharak Mykhel source: mykhel.com
