Rohit Sharma: The third day of the first match between Team India and Bangladesh (IND VS BAN) was played today (September 21) at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. At the end of the second day's play, Team India's lead was 308 runs, but after that when Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill came to bat on the third day, both the young players displayed a brilliant game and scored centuries and gave Bangladesh a target of 515 runs to win the match.

But when the Bangladesh team came out to bat in the fourth innings, the team made a great start. In which Team India's captain Rohit Sharma also helped them, but after that the head coach of Team India took some such decisions from outside the field, due to which the match now seems to be in the hands of the Indian team at the end of the third day's play.

When Team India came out to bat on the third day of the Chennai Test match, Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill batted cautiously for the first hour but after that both the young players showed the power of their batting. Rishabh Pant played an innings of 109 runs in the second innings for Team India, while on the other hand Shubman Gill also played an unbeaten innings of 119 runs for Team India. Due to which Team India gave Bangladesh a target of 515 runs to win the match in the fourth innings.

Bangladesh reached a strong position due to these decisions of Rohit Sharma

When Bangladesh came out to chase the target of 515 runs in the fourth innings, captain Rohit Sharma gave only the fast bowlers a chance to bowl with the new ball, but if we look at Ravichandran Ashwin's fourth innings statistics, he proves to be more effective with the new ball, but despite that, captain Rohit did not give Ravichandran Ashwin a chance to bowl with the new ball. Due to which, at tea time, Bangladesh's score reached 56 runs without losing any wicket.

This decision of Gautam Gambhir turned the whole game around

When the Bangladesh team came to bat after tea on the third day, after talking to Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma gave Ravindra Jadeja a chance to bowl along with Ravichandran Ashwin. Due to which, the Indian bowlers took 4 wickets in the post-tea session. Talking about the second innings, Ravichandran Ashwin took the most number of wickets from Team India, i.e. 3.

Talking about the score of Bangladesh team at the end of the third day's play, Bangladesh has scored 158 runs after losing 4 wickets but Bangladesh still needs 357 runs to win the match on Chennai ground which is impossible for any team to achieve on Indian soil. Due to which now this match seems to be in the hands of India.
