Legendary England bowler Stuart Broad said that he was lucky that a no-ball was not given on one of his balls during Yuvraj Singh’s six sixes in the ICC T20 World Cup 2007 in South Africa. In the Super 8 game at Durban, Yuvraj smashed six sixes in Stuart Broad’s over, which was the 19th of the Indian innings.

Broad conceded 60 runs without a wicket from his four overs. “I never watched the highlights of that game. I was lucky as Yuvraj Singh could have made it seven sixes in an over if a no-ball was called,” Broad told SKY Sports.

India National Cricket Team posted 218/4 in 20 overs while Yuvraj amassed 58 runs from 16 deliveries. The English team fell short by 18 runs and India went on to win the title by beating Pakistan in the final.

Yuvraj also accumulated 70 runs off 30 balls in the semi-final against Australia. He scored his runs at an average of 30 and a strike rate of 194.73 in the tournament.
