Virat Kohli was dismissed for just 17 runs in the second innings of the 1st Test India against Bangladesh at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. He was trapped in front of the stumps by off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz. Virat missed a straight one from the bowler, as he wanted to play the ball toward square but closed the face of the bat early.

The star batter was upset with himself and he went up to Shubman Gill after the on-field umpire Richard Kettleborough raised his fingers. Kohli wanted to know about the line of the ball and Gill confirmed that it was straight. He did not opt for DRS despite the hosts having all their reviews in tact.

However, there was a spike on the Ultraedge, which Virat failed to pick. Rohit Sharma was in disbelief and the umpire gave a cheeky look.
