Team India: The selection committee has so far announced a 16-member team squad for the first match of the Bangladesh Test series. The selection committee can select the squad of Team India in the coming 1 to 2 days for the second match of the Test series.

For the second match of the Test series against Bangladesh, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar can once again announce a 16-member team squad instead of a 15-member team squad.

Team India may be selected for the second test match on 23 September

The second match of the ongoing Test series against Bangladesh is being played at Kanpur ground from 27 September to 1 October. According to media reports, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar can select Team India's squad for the second Test match as well as the Bangladesh T20 series on 23 September for the match to be played at Kanpur ground.

Only the squad selected for the Chennai Test can be announced

For the second Test match against Bangladesh starting on 27th September, the selection committee can select the same squad of Team India that was selected for the Chennai Test match. According to the reports in the media, the batsmen of Team India could not do anything special in the Chennai Test match. Due to which the selection committee can once again select these 16 players to play Test matches for Team India.

This could prove to be the last chance for Shubman and Rahul

Team India's young batsmen Shubman Gill and KL Rahul have flopped badly in the first innings of the Chennai Test match. In such a situation, if Shubman Gill and KL Rahul flop badly in the second innings of the Chennai Test match, then the selection committee led by Ajit Agarkar can select these two players and give them their last chance in Test cricket.
