In the Chennai Test, Team India's first innings ended at 376 runs. On the second day of the match, Team India started playing from 339 runs but the last 4 wickets fell for just 37 runs, in which Ravindra Jadeja's wicket proved to be the most important. Jadeja missed his fifth Test century. On the other hand, Ravichandran Ashwin, who scored a brilliant century on the first day, also got out while trying to score runs quickly. For Bangladesh, young fast bowler Hasan Mahmud showed his brilliance by taking 5 wickets while on the second day Taskin Ahmed took 3 out of 4 wickets.
