Something was seen at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Wednesday which is hard to believe. In the first match of the three-match ODI series, South African team collapsed against Afghanistan for just 106 runs. South African team's batting was so poor that the team could play only 33.3 overs. 4 South African batsmen could not even open their account. Amidst South Africa's collapse like a pack of cards, one of its batsmen got out in a very funny way. We are talking about Andile Phehlukwayo who was run out by Gulbadin Naib. The video of his run out is going viral on social media.

Phehlukwayo's smartness proved costly

Phehlukwayo's wicket fell in the 10th over. This player tried to steal a run in Allah Ghazanfar's over but the funny thing is that Phehlukwayo did not know where the ball was. Phehlukwayo started trying to take the run without thinking but he did not know that the ball was in the hands of Gulbadin Naib standing at slip. As soon as Phehlukwayo ran to take the run, Gulbadin Naib hit the ball on the stumps and this batsman was run out.

Afghan bowlers wreak havoc

South African team came out to bat first and Reeza Hendricks and Tony de Giorgi gave the team a quick start. But by the end of the third over, Fazalhaq Farooqi got rid of them. After this, in the fifth over, captain Aiden Markram became the victim of Allah Ghazanfar. In no time, in 10 overs, South Africa lost 7 wickets for just 36 runs. It was Wiaan Mulder who somehow saved South Africa's honour by holding on to the pitch. Mulder scored 52 runs and thus South Africa's score crossed 100.
