Delhi : Former Team India cricketer Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh has also played cricket for India, although he did not get much success. His dream was fulfilled by his son, who played an important role in making Team India the World Cup winner. Currently, 66-year-old Yograj Singh is running his cricket academy and coaching young cricketers. Many videos of his coaching go viral on social media, in which he is seen as a strict coach.

I have sat on a tiger – Yograj

Yograj Singh was recently asked about his cricket academy that if a child wants to join him, what should be his mindset. On this Yograj said that you can see Yuvraj Singh and from that you will know what we do. Talking on Zee Switch, Yograj said that first of all you should not be afraid of death.

When I was 3 years old, my father told my mother that we are going to hunt a tiger. My father said that if it dies, it will not make any difference. But I will definitely make it a tiger. In such a situation, a three-year-old child was in the jungle with his mother. My father had rifles and we were sitting on a scaffolding. After this the tiger came. I was about to make noise but my mother covered my mouth. After this father killed the 6 feet tiger. The bullet hit directly in his head.

Yograj Singh further said, “My father always said that tiger cubs do not eat grass. After this, my father made me sit on the tiger and applied its blood on my lips. That picture is still hanging in my house.”

He said, “This is how I prepare every child who comes to my academy. I trained Yuvraj in the same way, and that is why he became a fearless cricketer. This is the way of my academy.”
