On the very next ball, Xavier Bartlett became the victim of Archer's yorker. He did not even get a chance to move his feet. Archer could not take a hat-trick but Saqib completed the remaining task. He bowled Cameron Green with a brilliant yorker on the first ball of the 19th over. In this way, both of them together took a team hat-trick for England.

5 wickets lost for 24 runs

The Australian team had a great start. The team scored 86 runs in the powerplay itself thanks to Travis Head's stormy innings of 59 runs. But England's bowlers made a comeback in the middle and final overs. In the middle overs, Adil Rashid and Liam Livingstone slowed down the innings by taking 4 wickets. Whereas between 16 and 19 overs, the Australian batsmen were helpless in front of the tight bowling of Sam Curran, Jofra Archer and Saqib Mahmood. Their innings came to a complete halt.
