How USA beat Pakistan in T20 World Cup

In the first match of the T20 World Cup, America won the toss and decided to bowl first against Pakistan. With the help of brilliant innings of Babar Azam and Shadab Khan, Pakistan scored 159 runs in 20 overs. In response, America got off to a good start thanks to useful innings of 50 runs by captain Monank Patel and 35 runs by Andries Gaus and came close to the target. However, Pakistan's fast bowlers Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Aamir put pressure on America.

Nevertheless, Aaron Jones and Nitish Kumar played brilliantly in the final over and equalised the score, after which the match went into the Super Over.

In the Super Over, Aaron James scored 11 runs off 6 balls to take USA to 18 runs, while Mohammad Aamir bowled a few wides. Saurabh Netravalkar bowled a brilliant Super Over for USA, ensuring that Iftikhar Ahmed, Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan could not reach the target. Eventually, USA won by 5 runs.
