IPL 2024: Bobby Deol posts MS Dhoni’s ’embarrassing’ video after asked to be deleted

Former Chennai Super Kings captain, MS Dhoni asked Bollywood actor, Bobby Deol to delete his embarrassing video in a social media post ahead of the Indian Premier League 2024. The 17th edition of the cash-rich league will kickstart from March 22, Friday.

The fans were taken by surprise when Bobby shared a screenshot of Dhoni's message, asking him to delete his embarrassing video. To which, Bobby had responded he would delete it. The interaction between the two left the fans guessing and created a sense of curiosity as to what video was being referred to here. Bobby broke the suspense and finally posted the video on his 'X' and it turned out that it was an advertisement for a promotional campaign. The video created a frenzy amongst the fans as Dhoni was dancing to Bobby's popular hook step from the song 'Jamal Kudu'. In the video, Dhoni committed that he would do anything if he lost in the online game to Bobby. After losing, Dhoni had to keep a glass on his head and shake a leg on Animal movie's song. Bobby captioned the post,"On popular demand! Here's a video of Mahi bhai grooving to my steps." Watch the video here- AFTER DANCE, DHONI SHOCKS FANS AGAIN! Dhoni took fans by surprise by stepping down from the captaincy of the Chennai Super Kings. Ruturaj Gaikwad took the reins of captaincy of the 5-time champions, CSK, and will lead the team this season. Dhoni handed over the captaincy to Gaikwad ahead of the season. In 2022 as well, Ravindra Jadeja took over the captaincy role for CSK. However, the transition wasn't as smooth as CSK lost 6 of their first 8 matches and Jadeja stepped down mid-way through the season. Dhoni took over the captaincy and led the team to a title win in 2023 by winning a last-ball thriller against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The defending champions, CSK, will get the ball rolling for the season opener against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 22, Friday at the Chepauk Stadium, Chennai.
