Delhi: Pakistan has given world cricket legendary fast bowlers like Wasim Akram, Waqar Younus, Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif, whose names scared even batsmen. Another name among them is Mohammad Aamir, who performed brilliantly in the beginning of his career. Aamir, who was once known for his excellent swing and seam bowling, does not show that edge now. In 2010, allegations of spot fixing shook Aamir's career. However, after the ban, he made a comeback and helped Pakistan win the ICC Champions Trophy, but his balls did not show the same old edge again. Now Aamir plays in various T20 leagues. In CPL, he is playing for Antigua and Barbuda Falcons. The captain of this team is Chris Green of Australia, who expressed confidence in Aamir, but Aamir did not live up to this trust. In the second match of CPL 2024, Falcons faced Guyana Amazon Warriors. Antigua scored 168 runs while batting first.

Pretorius thrashed Aamir

Guyana had to score 16 runs in the last over to win. Green handed the ball to Aamir, but Aamir could not succeed in it. Former South African all-rounder Dwaan Pretorius gave his team victory by hitting three fours and a six in Aamir's over. In this match, Aamir took two wickets for 39 runs in four overs.

No batsman from Antigua could score a half-century. Fakhar Zaman and Imad Wasim scored 40 runs each, while Kofi James was dismissed for 37 runs. Shai Hope scored the highest 41 runs from Guyana. Romario Shepherd finally strengthened the team by scoring 32 runs in 16 balls and Dwaine Pretorius scored 20* runs in 10 balls to give his team the win.
