Delhi: India's T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav recently got injured during the Buchi Babu tournament, which is a matter of concern for Team India before the upcoming tour of Bangladesh. Let us tell you that the hosts have to play Test and T20 series against Bangladesh on home soil from September 19.

Suryakumar got injured while fielding during the match between Mumbai and Tamil Nadu Cricket Association XI in Coimbatore. He played only 38 balls in this match and then got out due to injury.

Due to the injury, there are doubts about his playing in the Duleep Trophy, which is starting from September 5. Yadav is a part of Team 'C' in the Duleep Trophy.

There is currently no information available about the severity of the injury and the date of Suryakumar Yadav's return. He was appointed the T20 captain of Team India before the Sri Lanka tour. There is also no update on his availability for the T20 series against Bangladesh starting on October 6.

Suryakumar expressed his desire to return to Test

Recently, the right-handed batsman had expressed his desire to play Test cricket for India.

Speaking to 'The Hindu', he had said, “Red ball cricket has always been my priority. I started playing with the red ball while playing cricket in the grounds of Mumbai. My love for the longer format started from there and it continues even today. I have played many first class matches in the last 10 years and I still love playing in this format. That is why I have come here before the Duleep Trophy.”

Suryakumar Yadav is considered one of the most explosive batsmen in the world. He is the captain of the Indian team in T20 cricket and has made many important records with his aggressive batting. Now, apart from white-ball cricket, he is also focusing on making a comeback in Test cricket.
