Team India: Team India's new head coach Gautam Gambhir's tenure started with the Sri Lanka tour this year. In the T20 series held during the Sri Lanka tour, Team India won the series 3-0 under his leadership. In the ODI series, Team India had to face defeat by 0-2.

Due to which Gautam Gambhir had to face a lot of trolling on social media regarding his way of coaching. Meanwhile, Gautam Gambhir has also announced the name of the new coach of Team India, who will be seen handling a big responsibility for Team India from the Bangladesh series.

Morne Morkel joins the coaching staff ahead of Bangladesh series

Gautam Gambhir started his tenure as head coach with the Sri Lanka tour but Team India had the option of Sairaj Bahutule as bowling coach in that series. Who was selected by BCCI to perform this responsibility on an interim basis. The Bangladesh series is going to start from 19 September but about 1 month before the start of that series, Morne Morkel has been officially selected as the bowling coach of Team India.

This veteran is included in Gambhir's coaching staff

Gautam Gambhir's coaching staff has the option of Abhishek Nair and Ryan Ten Doeschate as two assistant coaches. There is the option of T Dilip as fielding coach and now South African legend Morne Morkel has been appointed as bowling coach.

The first test match will be held in Chennai on 19 September

The series between Team India and Bangladesh (IND VS BAN) will start from 19 September. The first match of the Test series starting from 19 September will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The second match of the Test series will be played at Green Park in Kanpur from 27 September to 1 October.
