Due to which this record of Garfield Sobers is always remembered. Former player Garfield Sobers made this record in the year 1968 in a county match played between Glamorgan and Nottinghamshire. Sobers hit sixes on all the balls of the same over of fast bowler Malcolm Nash. This historic innings played by Garfield Sobers is still remembered.

On 31 August 1968, a match was played between Glamorgan and Nottinghamshire. In which Nottinghamshire declared the innings after scoring 394 runs in the first innings. In response to which the Glamorgan team was successful in scoring 254 runs in the first innings. While in the second innings, Nottinghamshire declared the innings after scoring 139 runs.
