RCB: The 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) can start from the month of March. But before that, a mega auction is to be held in December 2024. Due to which we may see many changes in all the teams in IPL 2025. While we may also see many big changes in the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team, which has not won the IPL trophy even once so far.

Because, RCB can release everyone from its team except a few star players. While it is believed that Glenn Maxwell and Mohammad Siraj can also be dropped from the RCB team.

Big changes can be seen in RCB

In IPL 2024, the RCB team was successful in reaching the playoffs. But the team had to face defeat in the eliminator match. However, RCB can make many changes in its squad in IPL 2025. Because, RCB's bowling was very weak in the last season of IPL.

Due to which the team can buy some good bowlers in its team from the mega auction this season. Apart from this, the team will also need a strong wicketkeeper batsman. This is because the team's veteran wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik has announced his retirement.

Maxwell and Siraj may be released

Before the mega auction of IPL 2025, the RCB team may drop Glenn Maxwell and Mohammad Siraj from their squad. Because, the performance of both these players was very poor in IPL 2024.

Due to which now the RCB management can take a big decision and release star players like Siraj, Maxwell from the team.

The team can release these players

Keeping in mind the mega auction of IPL 2025, the RCB team can retain players like Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Faf du Plessis, Will Jacks from their team. Because, the IPL records of these players have been excellent so far and they performed brilliantly in IPL 2024.
